If you are into synth-pop and looking for something fresh, try the debut album from YARLIE, a Swedish girl on the rise.
“That is a letter of forgiveness. Yet, it is a middle finger up in the air. But also, it is a tribute to all the brave hearts out there. Who dare to love, over and over again.”
The tale starts with the first chapter about YARLIE’s first teenage queer love, and the last chapter ends in her major heartbreak and breakup so far. All of this magically fascinated by analog synthesizers, pounding 80s and YARLIE’s remarkable voice.
Being an independent artist, female entrepreneur, a non-stoppable force in the body positivism and feminist movement, YARLIE did not doubt for a second about the date for the release – 19th of November, International Men’s day.
“For way too long, the music industry has been a men’s world. That is about to change. Watch me do it.”
YARLIE has gotten attention from the north of Sweden to Abu Dhabi. Her music is rolling on the playlist in Spotify’s GRL PWR and Apple Music’s Made In Sweden. She has coverage in Sweden’s biggest newspaper, Aftonbladet, Radio rotation in Namibia (NAM Radio), and nomination as Best Pop Act in ISR Awards.
Starting from scratch, YARLIE has already gained a stable following on social media with fans who call themselves YARLINGS.
She was head-hunted as a model for Swedish fashion brand MONKI and has been seen on national TV performing in SVT Musikkalender.
YARLIE designed her merch and runs an online store in addition to entertaining on social media.
Well done so far and she is more than ready to take 2022 by storm.
